!!!![PLAY ONLY IN FULL-SCREEN]!!!!

CAPTION

"The Light Within" is a 2D horror game set in the small town of Warrington during the early stages of a zombie apocalypse in the year 2026. Your objective in the game is to strategically turn on the light switch when necessary. As you progress through the game, you will uncover an intriguing story revolving around the fate of a group of five individuals trying to survive in this dire situation.

HOW TO PLAY

GOAL

If you hear a sound that refers to something "bad", then turn on the light switch until you have defended your people. If not, then leave the lights off because if the lights are on, then the limited energy of the generator will go down and you won't be able to turn on the light switch anymore.

(It is explained in Prologue too)

I feel like if the game had more variety with the sounds it might be a bit harder. I liked how stressed I was feeling throughout the game and I liked the story. I wish there was more! Super fun game! :D

Thanks for your feedback!!!!!!!!

My night just didn't end? I survived until 9pm and its still going. The energy runs out too quick you can:

Make energy decrease slower

Make it so you start at diffirent times (ex. from 10pm instead of 8pm to 6am)

Make time go faster

I lost at 9.10pm

What??? It’s the first I’m hearing this because usually your energy should not run out so early and you should survive from 8pm till 6 am. Please try again playing my game.(read the description if you don’t know how)

I love the effects and general style you're going for here! It almost reminds me of Hotline Miami in a way. Cool aesthetic and a very neat idea of indirect gameplay.

Night 1 had a good amount of tension, however by night 2 I knew I was going to run out of power no matter what I did and that it was just reacting the same way to the same sound cues. I think with a bit more dynamism, interactivity, and resource management there could be a really solid game here.

I am really grateful for your feedback!!!! Because I am planning to complete this game. Thank you!
